Here is the damage to Jelly's Briggs car after her hard crash at Blue Mountain. She hit the guardrail in turn 4. The safety equiptment she wears plus a good seat and 5 point harness saved her from injury. |
The jersey bar and front bumper took the brunt of the inpact. The jersey bar actually formed to the shape of the guardrail, and saved Jelly from injury. All she had were a few bumps and bruises. This is why we always use a racing seat and we do not let the kids lean out of the cars. |

The car actually came out in pretty good shape - there wasn't much axle damage, most of the damage being to the front bumper. |
