Just a few more interesting photos for you to enjoy
Brother and Sister fighting it out on the track.
This is one of our favorite pictures of the kids racing together. This is in their third year racing and here they are at Blue Mountain racing in the 5HP Stock class.
Traffic Nick is chasing down Kadie Pursell in the #21. Coming up behind Nick is Cody Kohler (#29). Angelica is battling alongside Josh Bok in the #99.
Three wide at Blue Mountain
Another great photo thanks to Leo Boyer. Angelica stuck in the middle, does that make her the "jelly" in a jelly sandwich?
Red Flag, Red Flag, Red Flag!!!!
Angelica gave us this excitement in her first year. She was fine, just some bruised pride. We thought about having "Hi Mom" painted onto the bottom of the car after this incident.
All in a good night's racing...
Nick races beside Brittany Erlsten (#52) in 2007 action at Blue Mountain in the Honda 120 Open class.
Angelica on her own
Angelica came up with the design for her car by herself. She liked the splats she used in her first year and adapted them to this car. Her car will be different for 2008, though!
"I just know there are more mud puddles somewhere."
Nick loves the camera and he loves mud even more. Sometimes we can't find the kid underneath all that dirt!
Aerial shot (and not from the Goodyear Blimp!) Powering through the 4th turn at the West End fairgrounds, Nick and Angelica lead the pack.
West End Heat
Saturday afternoons in the summer are devoted to West End. The racing there is hot - the temp is high and there is no room for mistakes!
Follow the Leader
Angelica won the Heat race for the Honda 120's, she went on to win the Feature, too. Great job, Jelly!
Two mischievous Black Sheep
They both race on the Black Sheep racing team and are good buddies off the track, too. The Nick and Jake show always promises to be interesting.
The dust is flyin'
and so is Nick as he leads this group at West End.
Victory Lap
Nick led the entire race for the 5HP Stock class to score this well-earned victory in 2007 at West End.
Nick gets squeezed
Nick loses on the outside between turns 3 and 4 at Blue Mountain.
